Future Teachers Fund 

The School of Education makes a significant contribution to the community by providing quality learning and teaching for future generations.  

As Australia faces massive teacher shortages in schools across Australia, there is a need to support students undertaking a significant number of unpaid teaching hours in schools. While the Commonwealth Prac payment (CPP) is a welcome step, this doesn’t cover the true costs of travel and accommodation. 

We invite you to support student teachers in their final year placement – to assist with travel costs, accommodation and other financial challenges.
